I now only teach automatic, no more gear changing! Driving an auto leaves more attention to spend on the road, traffic and hazards. It is a much less stressful experience when you are learning – no more stalling and really easy hill starts!
With the move to electric cars gearboxes will be a thing of the past in a few years time.
